What brings you in today?

1. I know nothing about WordPress
2. This is my third blog
3. The others fell by the wayside as I got bored with them
4. I get bored easily
5. I love technology
6. My newest toy is a Blackberry Pearl
7. It is a RED blackberry pearl
8. I LOVE IT
9. I am an Emergency Medicine Physician
10. I just finished my residency in June 2006
11. I am getting ready to move in the next 3-4 months
12. I am 42 years old
13. My husband and I are trying to have a baby…AT MY AGE!
14. Right now we live with 2 spoiled cats
15. This is tough thinking of 100 things about yourself
16. I love food
17. I love trying new recipies though I don’t think I am a very good cook
18. Nevertheless I think I own about every kitchen gadget there is, esp if it is Kitchen Aid and in RED
19. I hate driving
20. When we go out, my husband usually wants me to drive
21. I never give the finger, but I do curse in the car at other drivers
22. Am I the only one that knows how to work a turn signal?
23. I like photography, though like cooking, I don’t think I am that good at it
24. I am from rural Appalachia
25. I graduated from West Virginia University (WVU) - Go Mounties!
26. I didn’t start med school until I was 33 years old
27. I had spent the prior 10 years as a secretary
28. One of my classmates was 48 when she started med school…with 6 kids! (only 2 at home at the time)
29. You are never too old to make your dreams happen
30. My husband and I grew up together
31. His parents lived 3 houses away from my parents
32. We went to grade school, jr high, high school, and college together
33. We have always been best friends
34. We just didn’t get married until he was 38 and I was 40!
35. He is a baseball coach
36. I think he is a better coach than I am a doctor, but like he says, he has been doing his job about 19 years and I have been doing my job about 1 year (5 if you include my residency)
37. Speaking of my job: I don’t mind getting blood, urine, sweat or poop on me…but I cannot stand vomit!
38. I love my job, but I cannot stand the hours
39. My shift is supposed to be 12 hours, but I am usually there for 14
40. I have stayed for 16 hours before
41. Still beats being a resident (my worst story being the time I got 4 hours of sleep in a 60 hour time frame)
42. I LOVE Dove Chocolates
43. I also love Caribou Coffee and Chipotle
44. Besides my Blackberry, another new toy is my satellite radio.
