Nice Weekend

Very nice weekend. I didn’t get out of work until 2am Friday night/Saturday morn. Then we left and headed 2 hours away to my sister’s. Got to the hotel at 4am! Ugh. Then went and had a nice day of beauty! Well, kinda nice. Had my hair colored and trimmed. It was just a touch-up to my roots, though in retrospect I should have told him to do my whole head as I think the color looks uneven now. Plus he missed spots as I am finding GRAY HAIR! Then the trim I am not really happy with. I wanted a 1920’s style short “bob”. I guess I kinda got it. Maybe I just have to get used to it.
Then I got a manicure. I wanted acrylic nails. They just painted my nails as opposed to putting on the fake stuff. I should have been more explicit. So another strike against me. Then I got my first pedicare. OUCH! That hurt! I guess my callouses were hideous as she pumiced (is that a word) the hell out of them. So much so that I have an open sore on my right heel now. Though I will say that my toe nails look fabulous! And my feet were much softer when I was done.
Oh and I also got my eyebrows waxed. It didn’t hurt at all and I was most worried about that (as I was also an eyebrow waxing virgin as well as the pedicare virgin).
Then today went golfing! I made par on one hole! This was only my second time an a real golf course. I have played at a couple of par 3’s before. Most of the rest of the day I felt my shots were pretty crappy, but I was so happy on Hole 7, Par 3!
Now back to work the next 2 days….sigh….
